Located in Barcelona’s Born district, this 90 m2 apartment urgently needed a facelift and better distribution.
As soon as we saw it, we learned that this high-ceilinged house with exposed beams was a rough diamond that only needed to be polished to turn it into a spectacular apartment, in keeping with the trendy neighborhood in which it is located. The distribution was not easy and we went around several times until we got the final one: to the right of the hall, the kitchen, a full bathroom and a toilet and, to the left, the living room and two bedrooms.
The reform consisted of eliminating unnecessary doors in areas of passage and creating others without subtracting meters from the floor, providing the living room with a guest dining room and completely renovating the kitchen to integrate the appliances and expand it with an office.
